Fr Hearn Weekly Message

Fr Hearn New Photo Jan 2016 resize web

I am writing this note of gratitude on behalf of Msgr. Kennedy, Father Karlen and myself. I know that I wrote a message of Thank You in last week’s column, but I thought it was important that I do so once again. Thank You for the many cards and gifts that we received from all of you. It would take us forever to write a personal note of thanks to each of you. Therefore, we hope this note of THANKS conveys our deepest gratitude for your kindness shown to us through your cards and gifts. Be assured of our prayers of gratitude for you as we move on to new places.

Again, I share with you Msgr. Kennedy’s new address: Msgr. James M. Kennedy The Nottingham #D205 1301 Nottingham Road Jamesville, New York 13078. I am sure he would be happy to receive a card or note from you. I will print my new address in my last column as your pastor in next week’s bulletin.

I told Sister Melissa that you were generous people especially toward the Missions for the poor. Your proved me true by your kindness in the second collection for the Missions.

Now we have to think of something close to home and I am referring to our annual HOPE Appeal. I know many have made a contribution or pledge for this year, but there are still many who have not made a gift this year. I just made my generous gift to this year’s HOPE Appeal and I am “hoping” that others will do the same. If we all work together we will reach our parish goal. PLEASE make your gift as soon as possible for you and I thank you.

Please continue to pray for healing in the lives of our sick who are hospitalized or homebound and for their families and caregivers.

As we pray for one another we also should pray this week for our seminarians and vocations to the Priesthood for our diocese.

Remember God loves you and so do I.
